For this project, we needed only to perform the usual rapid DVD replication, but deliver to one UK address.

We did this, again with items being dispatched on day 5 of production, so packages received very quickly!

They already had a pack created, consisting of a double disc pack with a CD and bonus DVD, printed inserts and booklet.  We took these to sort their CD and DVD replication, fulfilling everything and shipping out to their HQ in good time.

Everything ran smoothly, so we look forward to their next restocking needs!

So Brace Media were called upon to sort the DVD replication and get discs back to them ASAP.  As is becoming our norm in this sort of job, we got the manufactured discs back to them on day five!

Nice simple job, nice pleasant experience for Glenfiddich.

Birmingham School of Acting once again did their great thing of shooting scenes from films and TV shows starring their own graduates, so that a DVD could be created to show to various agents for these actors.

Brace was needed to do the DVD authoring, creating the 3D menus, woring all the options so all actors could be viewed individually (and once again, cleverly doing so, so that the limit of DVD specs could be overcome!); encoding all the films and then dealing with the DVD replication and printing.

The DVDs were replicated, packed into clear DVD cases, had double-sided inalys printed and inserted, plus a 24 page DVD booklet also inserted, all nicely cellophane wrapped.

All this was delivered in time for them to ship the discs out to their various destinations and give them to the students.

Not a problem – we got their DVD replication sorted very quickly, and in their hands so they could give them away to potential adopters and foster carers

Having gotten this wrapped up, Howell came to us, requiring the rapid turnaroud of DVD replication, for discs in plastic wallets.  However, for this project, Howell had prepared with ATS an A4 letter.  These letters needed to be printed, packed individually into jiffy bags each with a DVD, an address label printed and attached, and then these packages to be shipped out to each of several hundred recipients.  Any remaining discs were then couriered to ATS HQ.

He needed replication of 1,000 DVDs, with slimline clear DVD cases, double-sided inlays and shrinkwrap, and he needed them yesterday!

Well, although we couldn’t get them done for the day before, we did deliver the pressed discs on day five – so he was delighted to be able to get out to his gigs and sell his discs to happy punters.

To do this, they film their students, performing real scenes from existing movies or plays. These are directed by Michael B. Clifford, and then edited into mini films in their own right.

Another company is drafted in to design the DVD inlays, booklet and disc artwork, while we are busy planning out the technical layout of the DVD disc in order to squeeze in all the content that BSA want – finding ways around the limits of the DVD specification.  As we start receiving assets for each student, and the films themselves, we work closely with the design company so we are made aware of this year’s design.

With that in mind we can start planning out the DVD menu designs and how those will work.  For the 2011 DVD we had the time available to do a 3D animated menu again, yet tying in with the 2D graphic design of the DVD printed inlay.

After a lot of work – planning, modelling, animating, rendering, careful video encoding, and authoring – we got the master ready for the staff at BSA to approve.  Having had this ok’ed we then got on to the next task of replicating DVD discs, at retail quality, with printed inlays, booklets, and cellophane-wrapped, all done and delivered in time for a show they attend in London.

This year’s project went very smoothly and we are happy to hear that both staff and students were excited about the finished discs!

They promotional DVD had been updated, and Brace was tasked with delivering 1,000 replicated DVDs to them.

What made this year’s disc particularly exciting was that the discs and their printed inlays were not only full-colour, but also with a special additional metallic ink.  This added an extra level of supremecy, allowing their DVD to really stand out and impress!

We were asked to create a new master for Malaysia, containing the film and its newest trailer.  This meant creating a new version of the DVD menu to achieve this, so that’s exactly what we did.

To wrap the job up for our client, we took care of shipping the DVD out to Malaysia.  Everything ran as smoothly as can be, and as result, our client was naturally very happy!
