Mixed Martial Arts – Title Sequence

While working on the video editing of some MMA fights, we decided that the look of the videos needed an overhaul. Seeing as the fights would be shown both online and as DVDs, it was the perfect recipe to show the sequences.

Essentially, the MMA projects needed a new titles opening sequence. This was to reflect the forward thinking nature of the sport of mixed martial arts, as well as to leave the commercial sequences shown on national TV in the dirt.

So, taking footage from some of the fights, and with much planning, a new sequence was created in After Effects, far more exciting than had been used before. These sequences went down a storm with the viewers of these videos and helped cement Brace Media’s reputation in this area.

Sprawl n Brawl 3

Birmingham’s premiere Mixed Martial Arts event returned on September 18th, for another set of fights in Sprawl n Brawl 3 – The Next Generation 3! The event was held at the Ivy Leaf on Coventry Road, Sheldon, with space for plenty of an audience and a bar for them to get drinks from.

The event required A3 posters and tickets to sell. Brace was asked to continue the artwork from early events and get everything printed in good time to get publicity out there, along with ticket sales.

All went according to plan, and the night was a very busy one!

Sprawl n Brawl Event Posters June

The Brace team were involved in creating an updated poster (plus tickets) to continue the established theme for an upcoming event of the Sprawl n Brawl Mixed Martial Arts event in Birmingham.

The contest is an MMA fight event taking place on Saturday 19th June. With new fighters coming in, it’s being billed as The Next Generation, with matches showcasing fighters both from the last event and some new.

There will be several bouts – and we can only say fair play and good luck to the contestants. It takes a lot of guts to get in a ring with another fighter!
