13th Day – Polish Trailer

With the ongoing project that is The 13th Day, the project’s producer asked us to create another version of the film’s trailer, this time with Polish subtitles.

Not being native Poles here, we got the required text translated, and set about inserting the subtitles in at the right points. Once done, we exported the new trailer and uploaded it to the Polish contacts. All was silky smooth for our client.

13th Day – Posters

When working with The 13th Day guys, we’d already prepared large poster artwork for them back in May 2010.

But, they had a bit of an event going on, and needed a quick shrink of the posters to A4 size – and then 1,000 copies printed properly – and fast.

Could we do it? We were happy to! The changes were made, and then the 1,000 prints produced quickly, in time for their deadline.

13th Day – Feature Film & Trailer DVD for Malaysia

The team behind The 13th Day feature film are continuing to push the film internationally, and as a result needed our expertise once again.

We were asked to create a new master for Malaysia, containing the film and its newest trailer. This meant creating a new version of the DVD menu to achieve this, so that’s exactly what we did.

To wrap the job up for our client, we took care of shipping the DVD out to Malaysia. Everything ran as smoothly as can be, and as result, our client was naturally very happy!

The 13th Day – SD PAL to HD 24p Transfer

As The 13th Day’s success continues to grow, so does the demand for this film!

Recently, it was asked that the film be transferred to 35mm film for cinema use over in the Philippines! As a country with a large Catholic population, it’s no surprise these people want to see the film.

However, the film master itself is in standard definition, kept on Digibeta tapes. But, to get the film ready for film transfer, it needed to be converted…. firstly from standard definition to high definition, and then from PAL European TV standards on 25 frames per second, to 35mm’s 24fps.

The good people behind the movie asked us to take care of this process. We happily did this, exporting the converted film to HDCAM ready for us to ship out to the labs out in the Philippines.

So far as we know, everything has gone smoothly and soon the public there will be able to sit in proper theatres to watch the full film!
